A collection of sketches, pin ups and promos of Sgt Mike Battle.

BIG GUN
This is a sketch I drew at the Leeds Thoughtbubble convention 2008.
He'd recently watched Predator and didn't think that Jesse Ventura's
gatling gun was big enough
--Graham.

PAUL GRIST'S SMB and JACK STAFF
This is one of my favourite pics of SMB!
It was from my first ever convention appearance at Bristol in 2006,
was drawn by one of my favourite creators Paul Grist and is the closest
I'll ever get to seeing a team-up with Jack Staff!
--Graham.

PJ HOLDEN'S SMB
This is a sketch by PJ Holden,
best known for his work on 2000AD and Murderdrome,
and it was coloured by Jim Cameron

SMB.COM
This image was created when the website address
changed from sgtmikebattle.com to sgtmikebattle.co.uk.
I needed to think of a reason why an All-American Hero wouldn't have a .com
address so I thought maybe he could think it was
short for COMmunist
--Graham.

NINJA MIKE BATTLE
This sketch was an accident. It was meant to be a
standard shot of SMB holding a huge gun but I didn't
have enough space on the page to draw a gun in his
left hand. The only answer was to have SMB pulling
a sword from his back. I also draw this during the
Jonathon Ross/Tommy Lee Edwards panel at BICS 2010
--Graham

POUCHES
This sketch was done for a reader at BICS 2010.
He asked for "Something 1990s" so I decided
to draw as many pouches as I could. If you look
carefully you can that even his knuckles
have pouches!
--Graham.

HUGE PISTOL
This image was used on the flyers in 2006
--Graham.

THUNDER ROAD
This image was used on a poster for Thunder Road
Comics in Enniskillen. Paul, the shop owner, bought
several copies for SMB:GAH to sell to his customers
and asked for a poster to help promote the book
