SGT. MIKE BATTLE: THE GREATEST AMERICAN HERO! #10

Die Hard in an office”

Issue #10 is unlike any other SMB comic ever... Sgt. Mike Battle becomes a computer nerd, John Trojan gives in to the terrorists, Tele O'Toole gets into a fight and... Shapely Charms ends up scantily clad (well, the fans expect certain things to happen!).

Pearce struggled with the script for the final part of LAST ADMIN HERO, so much so that he went through about 8 or 9 rewrites before settling on a version that was...

    i) worthy of a Hollywood action movie

ii) subverted plenty of genre clichés

iii) was as good as the previous 2 issues

iv) ties up all the loose ends and

    v) allowed all the characters to have their own moment of glory

But even then, Pearce was unable to get the story down to 24 pages so he extended to 32 pages and was able to fit in everything and throw in a suitable epilogue.

This issue features:
